Most shading products don’t need a permit. Larger systems like pergolas and awnings often do, and building codes and inspection requirements vary by city and county. We’ll go over what applies to your home at the consultation.
HOA requirements generally apply only to shading products attached to the exterior of your home. Please check with your HOA management provider before making any purchase.
Exterior products are built to order, so lead times typically run 2 to 8 weeks depending on the system. We’ll give you a timeline for your project at the consultation.
